In America, there are private and public universities and colleges and are over 7,500 higher education institutions in the U.S. Many of the world’s most prestigious higher education institutions are in the United States and international students make a considerable percentage of enrolments in these institutions. These institutions include Harvard University and Yale University.
Yale University was stated in 1640s when a group of clergymen started a college. They succeeded with their mission in 1701. Then in 1718, the institution was named Yale College after the Welsh merchant Elihu Yale who made a big and a generous donation after his goods, books and a portrait of King George the 1st. Many international students have studied in Yale University since early 19th century when the first international student who was from China, achieved a degree from this university. Currently, international students in Yale College make nearly 10% and 15% in Yale University.
